Thanks for taking the time to stop by and have a look at my site. I am a multimedia journalist who specializes in adventure travel.
I am currently based in the UK and working as the Adventure Editor at Red Bull. I have also spent 5 years living and working in Asia. After working as an anchor and reporter in Hong Kong I moved to Malaysia to report on the general election (and indulge in a fair bit of travelling around the region). I produced political and travel multimedia stories for The Telegraph, the BBC, CNN, South China Morning Post etc.
In 2013 it was time to come back to London – by bike, a 10,000 mile journey from Kuala Lumpur. Despite narrowly avoiding being blown up by unexploded mortars on the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border I am still a fan of travelling on two wheels.
I studied modern history and politics at Oxford University and have a masters degree in journalism from the University of Hong Kong.
Want to see my work? You can find some of it on: Red Bull, CNN, BBC, Forbes, Al Jazeera, ABC News, The South China Morning Post, The Telegraph, The Jakarta Globe, Time Out etc.
News, travel, the great outdoors – and increasing access to it for all sections of society. I think being outside and connecting with people is good for the
soul. A bit of a hippy at heart – I'm also a trained swimming teacher and meditation instructor (not simultaneously).
I produce both hard news and feature stories for TV, print, and online. I can shoot and edit video (both short form and documentary). I have live anchoring and reporting experience and can handle creepy crawlies as well as business news.
Enough about me, let’s talk about you. Everybody has a story, what’s yours?
If you would like to get in touch with story ideas, want a wild weekend reading a full copy of my CV or just fancy saying hello, please email: email@example.com
I shall try to get back to you as soon as possible.
